This policy explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies, what we load only if you agree, and how to change your choice. In short: nothing for analytics or marketing runs until you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.
Cookies are tiny text files placed on your phone or computer by the websites you visit. Similar technologies include browser storage (such as localStorage), tags, scripts and tracking pixels. They can remember your settings, help us understand how the website is used, or measure advertising. The law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) says we must ask for your consent before using any of these that the site does not strictly need in order to work.
When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. It has three buttons of equal size and prominence:
Analytics and marketing are off unless you switch them on. Closing the banner or carrying on browsing is not treated as consent. Rejecting cookies does not stop you using the website, calling us, messaging us or booking.
You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. This reopens the banner. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. If you withdraw consent, analytics and marketing tools stop loading on later pages.
We will ask you again after 12 months, or sooner if we add new tools to this website.
These are needed for the website to work and cannot be switched off. The only item in this category is your cookie choice itself. We store it in your browser's localStorage under the key "ra_consent", together with the date and time of your choice and the version of the banner you saw. This lets us respect your choice on every page and know when to ask again. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
If you switch these on, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the website, for example which pages are visited and whether people go on to book. This helps us improve the website. We do not use the "statistical purposes" exception in the law to run analytics without consent: analytics only runs if you agree.
If you switch these on, we use Google Ads to measure whether our adverts lead to visits and bookings.
No analytics or marketing tags load before you give consent. Google Tag Manager, a Google tool that loads other tags, only loads after you opt in to analytics or marketing. Through it we load Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, matching the categories you have chosen.
If you have accepted analytics or marketing, links from this website to our booking system may carry a measurement code so we can see that a booking started on this website.
The table lists what this website stores or reads on your device. Durations for Google tools are Google's standard settings.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ra_consent (localStorage) | This website | Remembers your cookie choice, with the date and time and the banner version | Strictly necessary | Stays in your browser until you clear it. We ask again after 12 months or when our tools change. |

Providers regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) must show their CQC rating on their websites. To do this, some pages of this website load the official CQC rating widget from cqc.org.uk. The widget only loads when you scroll near it. It is provided by CQC, and any information it uses is covered by CQC's own cookie policy. You can read about how CQC uses cookies on the CQC website.
When you book online, you leave this website and go to our booking system on Pabau (booking.pabau.com). This is a separate website with its own cookies and privacy terms, which apply while you are there. Our cookie banner does not control cookies set by Pabau.
Some pages show our latest Instagram posts through SociableKit, a social feed service. The feed loads only if you accept marketing cookies, and when it does SociableKit and Instagram (part of Meta) may set their own cookies or read information from your device. This website does not embed maps, and its clinic film is stored on this website rather than on a video service. Google Maps opens as an ordinary link in a new tab, so it does not load anything on this website. Once you are on those services, their own cookies and privacy terms apply.
You can also block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Your browser's help pages explain how. If you clear your browser storage, your cookie choice is deleted too and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information more generally.
We will update this policy if we change the tools we use. If we add a new tool that needs consent, we will ask for your choice again.
